Workers laying the cables in place

This project involves the design, manufacture, testing and installation of 33kV underground cables and fibre optic cables from the Lungga power station to the Ranadi sub-station.

Alot of stakeholder consultation and input invloving relevant government ministries, the police, Telekom and Solomon Water, the surrounding communities and SDA Mission, went into the planning and execution of the project. The cables have now been energised and replaces the old 33kV underground cables currently linking Lungga power station and Ranadi sub-station.
