REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (INDIVIDUAL CONSULTING SERVICES)

Consulting Services Operation and Maintenance Training Program for Solar Plant Operators

The Solomon Islands Electricity Authority T/A Solomon Power has received a grant from the Asian Development Bank and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for Operation and Maintenance Training Program for Solar Plant Operators.

The services include:

  • Complete Training documentation for operation and maintenance for system operators
  • Complete Training for SP Engineers to become Trainers for these solar hybrid power stations setup for future system operators and maintainers in similar setups
  • Ongoing remote O&M support to key system operators and system managers

 

And the estimated level of effort is for a four-month’s period, commencing March 2024 up to June 2024

Solomon Power now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Procurement Guidelines: On the use of consultants by Asian Development Bank and its borrowers March 2013.

The Solomon Islands Electricity Authority T/A Solomon Power has received a grant from the Asian Development Bank and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for Third Party Inspections and Tests.

The services include:

  • Commissioning Checks
    Inspections, checks, and tests to ensure the installation matches specifications and relevant standards.
  • Acceptance Tests
    This ensures that the system is operating and performing as per specifications.

 

And the estimated level of effort is for a four-month’s period, commencing March 2024 up to June 2024
