FAULT & LOAD SHEDDING NOTICE
Monday 14th November 2016

Solomon Power is informing its valued customers and the general public that disruptions to power supply experienced over the weekend till now is due to a fault with its 33kV Over Head transmission line. Currently all transmission of power is by the Under Ground cable which is unable to carry maximum load for the whole city. Therefore a Load Shedding schedule is now put in place until the Overhead Transmission line and generators at Honiara Power Station are fixed. The load shedding schedule is as follows:

10am-12pm	Feeder 4:Customers on Mendana Avenue East (Old ANZ, BSP, Westpac, Hyundai Mall, Central Market and surrounding areas), MID, SIWA, Fijian Quarters . The public is advised to treat all lines as live at all times as power will be restored without warning. To avoid damages to electrical appliances due to this unstable power situation, all plugged in electrical appliances and equipment should be switched off until this fault is restored.
