Flooding could occur in low lying areas during heavy downpours and rising water will pose a danger to you and your family if it reaches your home electrical wiring and appliances. Listen to weather updates and evacuate the area when instructed too.

1. Turn off your appliances at the power points and unplug them and switch off the main switch on your switchboard.
2. Don’t use any electrical appliances that have been wet or damaged.  Have them checked by a licensed electrical contractor.
3. If your home electrical wiring has been damaged or submerged in water which prevents the re-connection of power supply, have it checked by a licensed electrical contractor who will notify Solomon Power so that power can be restored after our Inspectors have confirmed the installation to be safe.
