CASHIER – AUKI, SOLOMON POWER
Solomon Islands Electricity Authority trading as Solomon Power invites applications from qualified individuals for Cashier – Auki Station. The Cashier role is responsible for collecting payments for bills or cash power top ups, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers’ bills and deal with customer complaints.
The role reports to Manager Customer Care, Solomon Power. It is a full-time role and the incumbent will ensure:
- Effective Customer Care Cashier service
- A healthy, safe and OHS compliant Solomon Power
- Environmental protection is prioritized at all times
- Organizational values promoted and demonstrated at all times
Qualification: Diploma Accounting and Finance
Experience:
- Some experience in handling and managing cash
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Accurate and correct reporting skills both written and verbal
- Good Analytical skill and ability
- High Customer relations service skills

PROJECT MANAGER, SOLOMON POWER
Solomon Islands Electricity Authority trading as Solomon Power invites applications from qualified individuals for our Project Manager role. The Project Manager (PM) is assigned Solomon Power projects at any one time with these projects being managed concurrently and PM is responsible for the operational management of these assigned projects and initiatives where these projects will range from small, medium to large projects with various levels of value, risk and complexity. The role will also be responsible for the delivery of the assigned projects as per the Capital Works Annual Plan (“the Plan”) through the Solomon Power Project Manual.
The role reports to Manager Projects. It is a full-time role and the incumbent will ensure;
- Efficient and effective project management and timely delivery of an assigned project
- A skilled, safe and compliant department
- Resource management effectively implemented
- A healthy, safe and OHS compliant Solomon Power
- Environmental protection is prioritized at all times
- Sol Power image upheld and values demonstrated at all times
Qualification/Experience: Engineering Degree, Project Management
- At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the Project Management for delivery of projects for electricity utilities
- Superior communications skills, verbal and writing – putting together complex documents, writing reports and instructions, providing feedback, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage resources, doing budgets, managing spend against budges, reporting and managing variances
- Clear understanding of the project lifecycle process and the requirements to ensure the delivery of successful projects and actively drive projects to successful completion.
