ICT Opportunity – Digital Innovation Officer
Solomon Power invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Digital Innovation Officer.
A Digital Innovation role typically involves identifying new and creative ways to use technology to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. This may involve researching and analyzing industry trends and emerging technologies, as well as working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement digital solutions. The role will make input to developing and managing a digital strategy and roadmap, and measuring the impact of digital initiatives on business performance. The Digital Innovation Officers primary role is to support the organization to stay competitive in today’s digital landscape by leveraging the latest technologies and trends to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. The role is also expected to assist other areas of ICT, as required. The position reports to the Manager IT.
It is a full-time role and the incumbent will ensure:
- Systems Design, Development, Testing and Implementation
- Systems and Application Support
- Business Process maintained
- Well informed management through accurate and timely reporting
- A healthy, safe and OHS compliant Solomon Power
- Environmental protection is prioritized at all times
Qualification:
Preferred – Diploma in Information Technology and/or Information Systems.
Desirable – Higher Degree in Information Technology from recognized Overseas University.
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position with developed software programming skills to suit this role.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
