Electrical Engineer Renewable

We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Electrical Engineer (Renewable) to join the Generation and Outstation Electrical Team. The Electrical Engineer (Renewable) will report to Electrical Engineering Coordinator who will coordinate to provide support to the Electrical Engineer (Renewable).

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

  • The Electrical Engineer (Renewable) will support the Generation and Outstation Electrical team in the safe, effective and efficient delivery of key outcomes.

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Technology (Electrical).
    Applicants with Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering with extensive industrial experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of High Voltage (HV) systems, Transformers, HV switchgear, protection systems and switching operations.
  • Understanding of DC systems, battery banks, and inverters and charging systems.
  • Working knowledge of AS/NZS3000 wiring rules and LV wiring.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generator controls and protection and ancillary equipment
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office software

Electrical Engineer Thermal

We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Electrical Engineer (Thermal) to join the Generation and Outstation Electrical Team. The Electrical Engineer (Thermal) will report to Electrical Engineering Coordinator who will coordinate to provide support to the Electrical Engineer (Thermal).

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

  • The Electrical Engineer (Thermal) will supports the Generation team in the safe, effective and efficient delivery of key outcomes.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Technical effectiveness ensured in a professional and a timely manner
  • Organisational strategic direction supported at all times
  • Technical expertise provided in an effective manner
  • Advice, support and training provided efficiently
  • Compliance adhered and Excellent customer service upheld and maintained at all times
  • Environmental protection is prioritised at all times

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Technology (Electrical).
    Applicants with Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering with extensive industrial experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of AS/NZS3000 wiring rules and LV wiring.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of High Voltage (HV) systems, Transformers, HV switchgear, protection systems and switching operations.
  • Understand use of programs including, DCS (Siemen control system), Accelerator (SEL), Digssi, Test Universe (Omicron)
  • Understanding of DC systems, battery banks, and inverters and charging systems.
  • Computer literate in MS Office Software.
  • valid Driver’s License
