- Solomon Power (SP) is currently experiencing an exciting time of capital infrastructure development, network expansion and transformational change, undertaking SBD $1bn capital works program to building a world-class electricity network that will allow SP to better service its customers and future proof its network. To ensure SP can effectively operate and maintain its electricity system as well as lowering operational costs and improving quality and availability of supply to customers, a network wide SCADA system implementation with a central control center is planned for implementation.
- The Solomon Islands Electricity Authority (Solomon Power) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply and Installation of the Honiara Area SCADA & Protection Works, Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands. The turnkey process up to the operational acceptance will be ten months. The SCADA & Protection works will be implemented across the six Honiara station sites and covers the design, manufacturing, engineering, configuration, programming, testing, supply, training and commissioning of the site SCADA system and required relay replacement for the works.
- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB), and is open to all eligible Bidders. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Solomon Power, General Manager Capital Works of CW.Procurement@solomonpower.csb and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below.
- The bidding documents in English language may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below or the interested bidder can access this Tender Link address from where the bidding documents can be downloaded upon registration (https://www.tenderlink.com/solomonpower/). The Invitation for Bids (IFB) is available at the website of Solomon Power and Pacific Power Association.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15.00pm on 28 June 2019.Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 15.15pm on 28 June 2019.
- All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.

- The Solomon Islands Electricity Authority (Solomon Power) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply and Installation of the Honiara Area Master Station and Control Centre, Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands. The turnkey process up to the plant operational acceptance will be eighteen months. The SCADA system will be implemented across the Honiara network. A master station control center is planned for a centralized generation dispatch and remote operation of the electricity system with the ability to monitor and control operation of the six sites in the Honiara network.
- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB), and is open to all eligible Bidders.
