Invitation to Bid for the Design and Consultancy for the Development of a
Boom Gate and other Structures at the Road to Lungga Power Station and
Mbetikama Adventist College east of Honiara
BACKGROUND
Solomon Islands Electricity Authority (SIEA) trading as Solomon Power (SP) in consultation with the Administrative Committee of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) in Honiara have agreed to take measures to control members of the public going beyond the entrance to the Lungga Power Station and on to the Mbetikama College. Solomon Power and the SDA church have valuable properties within the area are initiating this project for the safety their property and in particular their residences and the staff and students at the Mbetikama College.
The parties also agreed that Solomon Power is to erect a fence along its land boundaries in order to clearly identify its designated areas of operation. In addition, the land boundary pegs to be constructed in such a manner that they are not easily removed and also that they can easily be located.

Submissions must in be hard copies and are to be delivered to the Tender Box located at the Head Office at Ranadi in Honiara.
Bid Submissions will close at 12.00 pm (Honiara Time) on 7th June 2019. Submissions received after the above time and date will not be considered. Opening of the bids will follow soon after the closing time at the Head office Board Room, Ranadi. Bidders or their representatives are welcome to attend the opening.
