Flooding could occur in low lying areas during heavy downpours and rising water will pose a danger to you and your family if it reaches your home electrical wiring and appliances. Listen to weather updates and evacuate the area when instructed too.
- Turn off your appliances at the power points and unplug them and switch off the main switch on your switchboard.
- Don’t use any electrical appliances that have been wet or damaged. Have them checked by a licensed electrical contractor.
- If your home electrical wiring has been damaged or submerged in water which prevents the re-connection of power supply, have it checked by a licensed electrical contractor who will notify Solomon Power so that power can be restored after our Inspectors have confirmed the installation to be safe.
