Manager Occupational Health and Safety, Security and Environment
Primary Objective:
Reporting to General Manager Corporate Services, The position of Manager Occupational Health and Safety, Security and Environment is responsible for the review, implementation and monitoring of Solomon Power’s (1) occupational health and safety (“OHS”) framework, policies, programs and initiatives, (2) security framework, policies, programs and initiatives, (3) environmental policies, programs, initiatives and approaches; and contributing to organizational planning, policy setting and decision-making processes.

Qualification:
Must have a Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
Experience:
- At least 5 years in a Team Leader role.
- Have the work experience and sound knowledge particularly in all the electrical OHS standards and systems of Solomon Power.
Occupational Health and Safety Officer
Primary Objective:
Reporting to Manager Occupational Health and Safety, Security and Environment, The Safety Officer is primarily responsible for the implementation and monitoring and reporting of the Solomon Power Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) Management System.
Key Result Areas:
Success in this position depends on these key outcomes being achieved:
- Effective HSSE management ensured.
- Effective leadership ensured
- Industrial Relations process managed efficiently
- Safety Management systems developed, implemented and maintained
- A healthy, safe and OHS compliant Solomon Power

Qualification:
Must have a Diploma in Electrical, or Automotive from a recognized tertiary institution
Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience with sound knowledge in similar role.
