PV System Cleaning Services - Expression of Interest
Solomon Power invites qualified contractors to submit Expressions of Interest for annual PV panel cleaning services across our Honiara facilities.

Project Background
The Solomon Islands Electricity Authority (SIEA) trading as Solomon Power (SP) is a vertically integrated state-owned enterprise that owns, maintains and operates the national electricity grid in the Solomon Islands.
In 2016, Solomon Power installed and commissioned its first 1 MW PV plant at Henderson, East Honiara as part its renewable energy commitment to reduce dependency on diesel fuel for generating electricity.
With the increasing generation from PV systems within SP network in Honiara, including addition of newly installed 2 MW and 220 kW plants it is important that proper maintenance be carried out on the plants to ensure system performance is well maintaining to achieve maximum output annually.
At present, old PV systems are not performing to desire output due to dust, dirt and debris causing inefficiency leading to under performance of the plants. This advert therefore seeks qualified firms to be engaged for the annual Maintenance of the PV plants in Honiara Network.

Project Details
Solomon Power invites qualified contractors to submit Expressions of Interest for annual PV panel cleaning services across our Honiara facilities.
Objective
The objective of this assignment is to provide an annual preventative maintenance to ensure system remains operational at its maximum desire output for different plants in Honiara network.
Contract Duration
The assignment is for one year. The contractor shall clean each PV plant once during the term and SP may request additional cleaning if require.
Evaluation Method
A Contractor will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Solomon Power Tendering and Procurement policies and Manual.
Cleaning Requirements
Use of clean, demineralized water, non-abrasive tools, and methods that prevent damage to panels.

Interested eligible firm or consultant can obtain further information at the address below during office hours 8 am to 4:30 pm on business days, Monday to Friday.
Interested parties are required to submit:
- A completed Expression of Interest (EOI) Form.
- A quotation for the cleaning services
