Invitation to Tender

Tenders are invited for the Design and Construction works at the Honiara Power Station which can be accessed  between the National Archives and King Solomon Hotel.

The scope includes, but is not limited to 2 components:

Component 1. Detailed Design, Drawings and Documentation

Component 2. Procurement and Construction

Tender documents are available at the reception, SIEA headquarters Ranadi.

Tenders are to be in a sealed enveloped marked only ‘SP-HON-GE-0616’ and are to be lodged in the tender box at the reception, SIEA headquarters Ranadi, Honiara.

Tenders close at 12pm on Friday 12th August 2016.

Any tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.

All prospective tenderers are encouraged to attend an on-site visit to be held at the Honiara Power Station starting at 9.30 am on Thursday 21st July 2016.

The SIEA is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.  Failure to comply with the tender instructions may lead to disqualification of the tender.

Any attempt by a tenderer to influence the award of the tender in their favour will cause automatic disqualification and may lead to criminal proceedings.

Tenders are invited for the Demolition and Deconstruction of the House at the Proposed Kola Ridge Substation Site approximately 4km from the Kukum Highway road. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of the existing house, deconstruction of the main structure, demolition and removal of the concrete slab, site clearance, supply and compact suitable fill to specifications, packing of main structural components for reuse and required clearing and grubbing.

Tenders are to be in a sealed enveloped marked only ‘SIEA-KOL-DD-0716’ and are to be lodged in the tender box at the reception, SIEA headquarters Ranadi, Honiara.

Tenders close at 12pm on Monday 1st August 2016.

Any tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.

All prospective tenderers are encouraged to attend an on-site briefing to be held at the Proposed Kola Ridge Substation Site starting at 10am on Monday 25th July 2016. 

The SIEA is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.  Failure to comply with the tender instructions may lead to disqualification of the tender.

Any attempt by a tenderer to influence the award of the tender in their favour will cause automatic disqualification and may lead to criminal proceedings.

Tenders are invited for the Civil Engineering Works at the Solomon Power, Henderson Property.

The site is approximately 1km from the Henderson Airport, going down to Foxwood. (Travelling from West to East)

The works include, but is not limited to, Clearance of Site, Earthworks, Formation of 2 X Roads,10 Driveways and Stormwater Drainage Networks.

Any tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.

All prospective tenderers are to attend a Compulsory Site Visit to be held at the Henderson Property Site at 10am on Wednesday the 27th of July, 2016.

Any tenderer failing to attend the Compulsory site visit will result in their Tender Bid not being considered.
