Solomon Islands Electricity Authority (SIEA) trading as Solomon Power (“Solomon Power”) is seeking bids from experienced and reputable entities to provide Insurance Brokerage Services.

Solomon Power invites tenderers to submit a proposal (“the Proposal) to provide Insurance Brokerage Services under the auspices of the Tender number quoted above.

The Terms of Reference (“TOR”) of the tender shall be available upon request to Solomon Power’s Business Performance Officer, Martin Ramo, who can be contacted by phone number 42487, or via email address: martin.ramo@solomonpower.com.sb.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 3.00pm (Solomon Islands time), Friday 10th January 2020. There are two options available to interested bidders for their submissions. Proposals may either be submitted electronically before 3:00pm (Solomon Islands time), Friday 10th January 2020 to the restricted the email address: Tenders@solomonpower.com.sb, or alternatively, a Proposal can also be submitted by hand in a sealed envelope addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, c/-Solomon Power, P O Box 6, Ranadi Head Office, Honiara before 3.00pm (Solomon Islands time) Friday 10th January 2020 and placed in the Solomon Power Tender Box marked “Insurance Brokerage Services”. The Tender Box is at the Reception area, Solomon Power Head Office, Ranadi, Honiara.

A Proposal must be identified by the Project Number SIEA–HQ–INS-0120 and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer.

The opening of the “Tender Box” (both electronic and physical) will take place at 3.30pm (Solomon Islands time) on Friday 10th January 2020. Bidders are most welcome to attend the opening of the Tender Box to be held at the Solomon Power Head Office, Ranadi, Honiara, in person. You must make your intention to attend the opening to Mr. Martin Ramo on email address: martin.ramo@solomonpower.com.sb.

Proposals sent to any other address, electronic or otherwise, and/or not placed in the stipulated Tender Box will be deemed invalid. Furthermore an unsigned Proposal will be deemed invalid as well. The signature for the Proposal must be that of a Principal or Director of your organisation.
